Yaya Touré a été honoré par l’Association des journalistes sportifs anglais (WFA) pour l’ensemble de sa carrière en Premier League. L’ancien joueur de Manchester City (2010 2018) a remporté avec les cityzens plusieurs trophées lors de son passage dans le club mancunien. Le champion d’Afrique 2015 a été honoré par l’Association des Journalistes Anglais ce dimanche 19 février. Yaya Touré a reçu un prix d’hommage pour l’ensemble de son immense carrière. L’ancien Capitaine des Éléphants a remercié la FWA pour cette distinction, mais aussi Chris Powell, Patrick Vieira, Didier Drogba, Vincent Kompany et Joleon Lescott pour leurs mots à son endroit.
